Below are the names and some information, where available, of all of the immediate victims of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. The following names are of the 3,497 killed in the attacks, including the 343 firefighters and paramedics that were killed, the 23 members of the New York City Police Department and the 37 members of the New York City Port Authority. There were 289 bodies found intact, and 19,858 individual body parts recovered. There were also 1,717 families who received no remains at all, 1,609 people who lost a life partner and 3,051 children who lost one or both parents.
